WORKING VISIT TO THE REPUBLIC OF INDIA BY THE MINISTER FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND MINISTER FOR LAW OF THE REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE K SHANMUGAM, 28 TO 30 JULY 2013

Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam will make a working visit to the Republic of India (Bihar and New Delhi) from 28 to 30 July 2013.


While in the state of Bihar, Minister Shanmugam will visit the Nalanda University archaeological complex and meet with Nalanda University officials.  He will also call on the Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, on 30 July 2013.


In New Delhi, Minister Shanmugam will meet his counterpart, India’s Minister of External Affairs Salman Khurshid and National Security Advisor Shivshankar Menon.  On 30 July 2013, Minister Shanmugam will also deliver the inaugural speech of the newly-launched ASEAN-India Centre on “ASEAN and India – The Challenge Ahead”.


Minister Shanmugam will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore.
