The Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India Salman Khurshid will make his first visit to Singapore from 3 to 5 July 2013 at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam. Mr Khurshid will be accompanied by senior officials from his Ministry.


During the visit, Mr Khurshid will call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong and Deputy Prime Minister, Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs Teo Chee Hean on 3 July 2013. Mr Khurshid will also deliver a public lecture on ‘India and Southeast Asia: Today and Tomorrow’ organised by the Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS) on the same day. On 4 July 2013, Minister Shanmugam will host Mr Khurshid to dinner.
