Emeritus Senior Minister (ESM) Goh Chok Tong met Congress Party President Sonia Gandhi, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Leader L K Advani and Union Minister of Urban Development Kamal Nath in New Delhi today.


ESM and Mrs Gandhi had an extensive discussion on the domestic political developments and the development challenges confronting India. They also discussed some of the key issues being debated at the current Winter Session of Parliament. ESM invited Mrs Gandhi to visit Singapore at a time of her convenience.


ESM and Mr Advani discussed recent political developments in India, including the State Assembly elections and their implications on the General Elections next year. They also touched on developments in South Asia. ESM also met some prominent Indian business personalities.
