Position: Executive Assistant

The Executive Assistant will support the political team at the High Commission. This will be a supervisory role. The role entails political and economic research monitoring, as well as event planning, protocol arrangements, budgeting, and logistical support, for visits across India, Nepal, and Bhutan.
The Executive Assistant candidate would be responsible for:
Conducting Political and Economic research for the Political Team.
Leading the other members of the local staff in the Political Team.
Providing administrative and logistical planning, coordination, and support for official visits and trips.
Organising meetings, events, and site visits, including logistical preparation and on-the-ground coordination.
Liaising with government agencies, think tanks, private companies, and vendors in both English and Hindi.
Serving as visit coordinator and Hindi interpreter for out-of-Delhi visits.
Taking photographs and preparing social media posts/videos for official events.
Maintaining and updating contact databases and CVs of key personalities in India, Bhutan, and Nepal, and any other political reporting as determined by the political team.
The ideal candidate would:
Have a postgraduate degree, preferably in international relations or a related field.
Have at least 8 years of experience in a relevant or related role.
Have a strong command of spoken and written English and Hindi.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
Adaptable, a team player, and able to multitask effectively.
Possess some supervisory/managerial experience.
A career at the Singapore High Commission will:
Be varied, challenging, and fast-paced.
Involve regular domestic travel within India and occasional international travel to Bhutan and Nepal for official trips, typically between one and three days long.
