Position: Assistant Manager, Finance & HR

The Assistant Manager, Finance & HR is responsible for managing the Finance & HR section comprising one Finance Assistant and one HR Assistant.

 The Assistant Manager, Finance & HR would be responsible for:

• Preparation of budget and to conduct quarterly budget reviews for the fiscal year.

• Handle and oversee day-to-day financial administration of the Mission.

  • 
    

• Oversee and manage the recording, documentation and submission of GST claims as well as to liaise with relevant Indian government agencies.

  • 
    

• Create/update Employees EPF account on the portal as and when required and generate EPF reference number for payment of EPF via online banking.

  • 
    

• Organize and coordinate Mission’s staff wellness events.

  • 
    

• Assist the Office Manager in providing relocation services and support for Home Based Staff including application for stay visa, Diplomatic IDs, shipment, and accommodation matters.

  • 
    

• Act as administrator for the LRS Leave Management System.

  • 
    

• Track employee contract renewals including medical screening and preparation of employment contracts.

The ideal candidate would:

• Have a degree, preferably in human resources and/or accounting & finance.

  • 
    

• Have at least five years of experience in a relevant or related role

  • 
    

• Have a good command of spoken and written English and Hindi.

  • 
    

• Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.

  • 
    

• Have an eye for detail, and a preference for precision and rigor in his/her work.

  • 
    

• Be adaptable and able to think on his/her feet, a team player, and able to multitask.
